I just got a wonderful call from a forum poster who I helped organize a defense for her LIDAR ticket in MA.

She was certain she wasn't going the speed the officer said she was and the thing that caught my eye was the ticket was sooo far out at 1550 feet or so.

Well over the past two months I've been offering some information on how the LIDAR units work, what I know about what the Commonwealth needs to "prove" a speeding ticket using LIDAR or radar.

While your experience may differ and the outcome may be not so victorious, she put together a plan that she was able to use, questioning and cross examining the officer to show things really didn't transpire like he said they did.

THEY ARE ECSTATIC they had to call just as court was over........

I've encouraged her to write in later today and tell you how she did it!
