Now nothing happening when you turn the key, this sounds like a classic starter issue, as in the big cables have come off or the solenoid isn't working.
But that wouldn't cause the engine to stall.
A CPS on the other hand should kill the engine, but the engine should spin over normally.
What are you doing at the dealer, this is not a good place to be unless you are under warranty....
Also engine running without oil will do a whole bunch of fun things:
It will become very loud as the tappets lose oil pressure
It will become very hot and begin to overheat
Engine power will be relatively gradually reduced until eventually the engine stalls at WOT
Usually you will have a lot of smoke coming from underhood due to "road crud" burning or boiling coolant
Also the dashboard will be going bezerk "ding dong DING DONG DING DONG DING DONG I SAID DING DONG" then start swearing in Japanese at you
