How long from ordering VEIL 'til it ships from RadarBusters? Sheeesh!

I placed an order for VEIL and 2 shields on Wednesday October 1st around noon from RadarBusters.com. The order still shows as "pending" when I check the order. I've called 2 times and each time have been told that the VEIL and the shields are in stock and they don't know why it hasn't shipped yet. I would have thought I'd have it about now... Is this typical? This is my first order from them...

Definitely *NOT* typical, although you're now the second community hobbyist/enthusiast to have mentioned such a similar case, within the last, I believe, two months.

It looks like some orders are just, for lack of better words, "slipping through the cracks."

My G4, coming off Roy's then special Blog-offer, took barely 3 days, from order to arrival. My replacement LaserShields (for the one that I damaged on my garage door ), took from the Friday order placement to Monday arrival.

Well, I checked again this evening and still they have no idea why it hasn't shipped since the items are in stock. It'll be a week tomorrow. I'll think twice before ordering from them again...

I had hoped to have applied the VEIL and installed the shield before my trip out of town this Friday. And I picked up a Testor paint sprayer the other week. My luck, the VEIL will arrive and sit on my doorstep while I'm away. Thems the breaks, I suppose.

I've got the same issue: I paid, using PayPal, for Veil on Oct. 1; I checked PayPal again today and the "transaction pending" appears next to the charge. Cannot reach a live person at PayPal to rescind/cancel the purchase either.

When you order from NetShops (including radarbusters), you get a customer satisfaction survey by e-mail soon after. Be sure to fill it out and let them know your concerns. If the right people don't get the messages where they can be compiled, then nothing will be done.

With Paypal, it depends on your bank. Some banks will not approve a Paypal transaction until up to 10 business days later -- just as if you had used a check. It depends on the bank and how strong they are at preventing identity theft, and it can also depend on whether your bank monitors how frequently you use Paypal and what the average amount of your Paypal transactions are. If Paypal shows the transaction as pending then this almost always means that your bank has not yet authorized the transfer.
