hello i was wondering if any of you guys know if anybody make a mirror mount for my valentine radar? i already hardwired the radar to my map light i just want to install it underneath my mirror without using suction cups. i attached several pics of my mirror. if no one makes a mount do you guys have any ideals on where to mount my valentine? thanks
It's called Blendmount, and the Google is your friend to find it. But darn few people here would recommend it. Although it is a well made item and looks good, mounting your RD in that location is total FAIL for a multitude of reasons.
EDIT: On second thought, now that I realise what you are driving, maybe it's not such a bad idea after all. With that car, you already fail on every level of stealth, so hanging an RD in the middle of your windshield doesn't really make it any worse. The only drawbacks remaining are that of the lowered height decreasing your range, and the possibility of a cop with a grudge writing you an extra ticket for the obstructed view it creates.

It makes your detector very visible from behind and it interferes with your vision, especially to the front right of your vehicle.
Try Great Lakes mirror mount, you may be able to adapt it as it just stickes to the back of the mirror.

2. Placement puts it in your field of view, leaving you open to an obstructed view ticket.
3. Conspicuousness attracts thieves.
4. Conspicuousness assures every cop who pulls you over will see it, destroying any chance that he'll let you off with a warning.
5. Conspicuousness attracts Klingons who will follow you, knowing you have protection and that you'll get stopped before they do.
6. Placement increases exposure to sunlight and heat, damaging the electronic components.

While not illegal they do attract attention, I like having mine as much out of sight as possible. Don't want to attract LEO's or thieves!!
stealth stalker kind of covered why it was bad to have it visible from behind, leechers.
people will see you have a radar detector, and if they don't, they'll pop in behind you and tailgate you so they can kind of use your radar detector as their own. if you brake, they'll brake, and since you're in front, you'll get the ticket.
this would be a problem with your car especially, people are not only going to want to follow you because its an iconic and exotic car, but also because you'll get the ticket they would have gotten
