Default What's more important - being outboard or symmetrical?

I have a honda civic si and a blinder m27. There is a 2" SI logo on one side of the grill opening. So my options are to move both in by 2" or just one of them by 2". Is it more important to be symmetrical to centerline or have them as close to the headlights as possible. I think closer to the headlights would be better but the manual sort of shows a line of symmetry through the vehicle. Sorry if this has already been answered but nothing found on my searches.

    Thanks.

Remove the Si logo if you can as placement is very important with Blinders. I don't think either of your other options will provide you adequate protection. Remover the logo and do it right, or get LI's if you want to leave the logo.

Bummer. Its not bad enough I drive a Civic SI and now I have to drive a base Civic? ;-) I agree, the LI's will come in due time but for now I have the Blinders and would like to keep the logo. Given that, I still would have to imagine to keep them as outboard as possible rather than pull the other inboard??

My grille is a bit different. The SI logo is all the way at the extremity of the grille opening. I think the one in the pic is an 08 or later. Mine is an 07 which is an older fascia design. I currently have the driver side about 2" inboard (size of the SI logo badge). They are both level and facing down the road but are not in the same plane fore/aft. I'm thinking of moving the other one in 2" as well and keep everything symmetrical.
