Whatever is in Veil, it manages to dissolve the toner or whatever they use for the month sticker I put on my new plate. The plate itself is barely noticeable with Veil for visible reflected light, but otherwise just looks like I haven't washed it in a few days (just a light streaking in places since I'm not good at the application yet), and even that would be hard to tell without a new plate next to it.
