Can you kind gentlemen and ladies help with this.

No those aren't Christmas lights. I wish I could do yellow, but would take a lot of cutting and may not be enough depth behind the grill for this. Is it a big deal to cut up a grill (is it easily replaceable?)

I guess I'm leaning toward green - would probably need to bolt into the underside of the bumper, maybe aim up a hair for overpasses. Not exactly stealth, but what can you do.

On the backside

The ledge above the plate is shallow (~1.25 inches) and there is a light up there - would probably have to drill through somehow. Below bumper would be a lot easier but awfully low. Any thoughts? I might hold out for the LI for the backside b/c of the rumored license plate holder device. I like LPP for the front since I'm in a special state.

Thanks

How many heads and what brand are they?

I think I agree with ahmadr, I usually like installing dual LPP heads under the bumper, but Yellow would probably be best as you have a lot of HeadLight to protect.

So Yellow, in the first or second row from bottom of the Grille, as close to the lights as you can get.

Replacement Grille's are pretty easy to get a hold of, check the Internet for 3rd Party OEM replacement Grilles, they are exactly like the originals, without Dealer markup.

That grill can be easily removed and cut no worries do yellow but next one down.

LPP dual head on the front. ? on the back.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far. You are giving me more confidence to go after the grill.

I would do bottome grill slit under the yellow. You can always get a new grill down the raod. I cut my grill to an it wasn;t a big deal. Just make sure you mount hte heads level.

Yellow would be best but down toward the bumper as ahmadr had suggested IMHO :D

I would recommend the grill as well. Mainly because when I measured it from the bumper it didn't cover my headlights with the 18" rule. I just recently installed my blinder and regret putting it on the bumper, didn't want to cut the grill since it was a specialty grill. I'm planning to do a re-install once I get a hold of the new LI release. I will use my stock grill and paint it black in the future.

here is a picture of my install:
