Veil is on its way friday 8)
I mounted my x50 to the lowest position possible without interference from the wipers, used a laser/level to get it even. Its ready to go, My state dont require a front plate so the headlights are my only part of my front end i'm applying it too. Any suggestions/tips on applying to a cavalier?

Careful, it goes everywhere  And be ready with an alcohol-soaked towel to wipe it off your paint.

Is Roy's VEIL application video still up? The VEIL Guy, I believe, demonstrated, first-hand, on a Cavalier.
I don't know if your vehicle would match that particular one's vintage, but it's worth a shot, as it should at least give you an idea of how/where VEIL will tend to flow/pool. :)
Keep in mind that Veil...how do I explain this...Veil SPREADS. Like an infection. It comes packaged inside a plastic jar, wrapped in layers of paper, sealed inside a plastic bag, locked inside an airtight metal can. THE VEIL GUY DOES THIS FOR A REASON! Once you take the Veil out, it will go everywhere, all over the jar, you, your clothes, the car, the ground...it's really bizarre. The more painter's tape you use, the better. And remember, it's much drippier than paint.

Justin,
Applying Veil is not that difficult. Be prepared with Windex and or rubbing alcohol if you screwed up on your 1st application. Otherwise, follow the instruction especially the ambient temperature application and washing so forth and you'll be fine..
I am also happy to say that Veil and Laser Shield had saved me from a ticket over the BC long weekend on one of the Northern Gulf Islands where they don't usually laser you after disembarking from the ferry!!!

thanks you guys!
i'm really nervous about the application to my headlights, at this time of the year, well its 99 outside now with a heat index of 105 so i'm pretty sure it will dry on well and not run as it would during the winter hours.
So start from the top and let gravity do the work?! Thats what I hear, and how do I know if I put it on well? I dont want to think I have a good application on and then it not work period. Would it hurt to apply it twice?

Trust me, it'll still run in that hot weather. Well, it ran in 96F with a heat index of who knows what.
I've been hearing heat indexes 110-120 over the past few days.
