Well, I am selling the Trans Am and will be converting my LPP's to my new "free" Jeep that I got. No front plate will be installed.
I could of swore that LPP was making a quad head control box but that might not be the case. If they are then I'm going to install 3 heads on the front.
So here is my first install ideas which option do you like best? Personally I prefer Option 3.

If I can't get a quad head control box then I'm going to install 2. For this one I am feeling Option 2.

Finally here is a pic of the same jeep minus any of my photo shops if you have other ideas.

can you confirm no decrease in performance? this is something I have never got to test and I would love to some time.

You can do a dual head LI and you will be fine. Look at the video that elvis posted on his truck and performed like a champ.

I think the wide angle lens is messing up the image too much...

I'd like to but unforuantley speed cheetah does not support LI at the moment and no way do I want to go through another install. With the cheetah it's going to take me about an hour tops.
I am curious to know if LPP's could be mounted vertically, that would make my life easier.

vertical works better for detection i have found.
no decrease but increase in detection performance.
not sure why it just does vertical is way better!

which would be better?
The 2 on the corners mount horizontal and the one in the middle mount Vertical?
Or the 2 on the corners mount vertical and the middle horizontal?
Can you do some real world testing of this IRCM? I'm really curious to see if mounting vertical would impact performance.

All i can tell you is a flat piece of brown cardboard that absorbs IR well and shooting it with a low intensity PL2 is as controlled as it gets.
if i get 2 feet on the long side and 8 inches on the small sides if i could mount vertical on my car id do it!
For a real world test id have to get your vehicle, but after tonights test with the PL3 im sure a dual head on the JEEP is more than ample no matter how you mount them.

It might be that your GUN has more scatter in the vertical direction
The lens on the M20/M25 SHOULD increase sensitivity in the horizontal plane.

uh negitive
BX mounted vertical has a lense that is cruved it will detect better along the curve more range of light can enter light horizontal to the head will not change its physics
