I hear that the bel 904,905 and the escort zr3 dont block all laser guns. Why is this. different frequency or something else. Also was looking into the blinder m 20.noticed it is rated #1 and does block all bands. I was just wondering if anyone has tried mounting the rear sensor on the front plate from the Bel or escort models. If doing so I would think this would greatly increase their ability to jam, and wonder if it would give protection from all laser guns. In my mind 3 lens would be better than 2.

Ray,
any way you could test my theory.
Thanks

Laser Atlanta Speedlaser stealth mode has some type of varied pulse rate that prevents all jammers except Blinder from jamming it.
************************************************** **
I would not recommend the ZR3/Bel 905 for the following reasons:
1. It does not have replaceable lens for the jamming heads.
2. It will set jammer codes off on SOME laser guns.
3. It will not jam Laser Atlanta stealth mode.
4. It currently is not upgradeable.

I like the rear jammer head of the ZR3, I wish Blinder made one like that. Another good thing about the ZR3 is that it is very good at jamming all laser guns except the Laser Atlanta stealth mode which is currently not a popular laser gun with LE, but it is out there.

Roy,
is true about the varied pulse rate of laser gun in stealth mode? And have you ever tested the bel 904 with rear mount in front? I talked to bel service and they said it wouldnt cause any problems.Just didnt recommend due to threats of laser from rear.

The threat of getting lasered in the rear are SLIM. In Ohio they LOVE laser and not once have I EVER seen a laser trap setup for the rear

I live in ohio, and I see them lazering from the back from overpasses, and then radio down to the cops a ways up the highway. Granted- thats not common to see though...

I've been hit with laser in the rear once. Got hit in Maryland after I passed an onramp. I was going about 80 in a 55 so I assume the rear ZR3 jammer did it's job because the cop just stayed there. It was a bike cop.

There was one other time in Virginia the ZR3 went off 3 times in a row, display indicated rear. Kind of weird because nothing was behind me and no one was on the other side of the highway either. I guess it could have been a cop well hidden because I did not see anything.

You'd be surprised what the MD cops will let you get away with. I was doing 110 in a 35, but it was like 2 am and nobody was around (it was a 45 zone 3 weeks earlier) and the cop clearly saw me (shined his spot light on me), but he didn't do anything about it. Oh, and I'm not trying to say the Zr3 didnt do its job, Im just saying MD cops let people go a lot.

Yeah thats true MD cops do seem to let people go easier. Except lately they have been out like mad writing tickets, but I don't think it will last like that long term. Maryland won't become another Virginia.

The Laser Atlanta is big around Ga, where the company is based. Don't know if MA has a state contract with them, but I have done Google searches before to come up with state contracts. Try Ma laser contract to see if anything comes up

The reason that some laser jammers cannot jam all the guns is the pulse rate that they use. As an example LTI-100: Pulse 100, Kustom Pro Laser: 200, Stealth Atlanta (I think it is 400 but not sure)

I'm not sure why everyone says Blinder jams "stealth mode" because it doesn't. I have tested it with my very own eyes. Not only that but speed measurement labs did a study for laser atlanta and they concluded the stealth mode was NOT jammed by the Blinder. If you don't belive me look at the SML report. A video review will be up soon. The good news is the Laser Atlanta is not that popular.

Chris

You are really going to tick off the Blinder Dude with that statement. Hell he might even challenge you to a shoot out :)
