What is with idiots these days!

Why would someone want to bring un-due attention to laser jammer owners by posting the locations of the laser heads on current model cars in Western Australia.

The Police obviously check out websites of local RD sellers as the news travels fast, and now I can see why. Idiots like the owner of this site giving away every piece of information required to bust someone for running laser jammers.

Why not just hand out the license plates of the installed vehicles why your at it directly to the local Police...... moron!

http://www.radars.com.au/radar_detectors/gf100-police-laser-jammer.php

In the end, he is hurting his own customers and will bring untold heat on himself for selling them when mr plod comes knocking at his door.

Sell the product, dont KILL its potential, and for a business that relies on sales, you're not very smart!

I'm pretty sure professional traffic cops know already how LJ headers look like and when they are usually installed, this website doesn't bring anything new I for instance (and have no LJs and started just looking into this issue about 2 months ago) know already... traffic cops usually educate themselves, that's part of their job skills, they always gotta know what's new on the market in terms of radar/laser units (so they can go to their bosses and propose acquiring new units for their own force) also on terms of radar/laser counter-measures... as long as the website does not show the license plate of the MV they have installed the LJ on, personally I don't think that the website really jeopardize any privacy issue with any car owner they have installed the LJs on... just my own humble opinion...

Personally I don't recommend anybody living in an illegal area (RDs and/or LJs) installing LJs, you gotta be blind (and cops are not  ) not to see the headers out of your front grill or around the license plate :!:

Example: you have your beautiful car parked somewhere in a d/town any-city/any-country and when you're coming back to your car you see one (or two) cops looking close to your car, then they engage you in a short wave of questions, very friendly at the beginning, "Nice car but what's up with those 2 black things right there?" pointing their fingers straight to the LJ headers, and you say what??? Then, "Sir, by law either you remove that stuff right now, in front of us or we will have to call a tow truck and tow your car to our police yard where we will do the removal, also you will be charged with illegal equipment on your car... Sir, we have the power of searching your entire vehicle, so do you have anything else illegal in your car, maybe a radar detector?" So, what do you do next?

Those are my parking unit sensors. It's an aftermarket system I recently had installed since I have trouble parking.

That is not a realistic scenerio, When you look at a car there is many things that come from the factory like laser cruise control boxes etc. There is no way to prove what is what on a car, I know most jammer heads look the same, but they will have to start looking for it, plus in the states that it is illegal you would have to be pulled over for them to look.

And then he asks you: Why on the front grill? can you show me the ones at the rear?

So if they just walk, on a foot patrol, or on city bicycles, around your car parked outside a grocery store (just an out-of-the-blue example) and sees something that he thinks is illegal to be mounted on any MV in his jurisdiction, so in this case it's up to him to wait for the driver of the vehicle to show up and then start the... you know what...

he got at least 6 while i was doing this btw  and never once hit me while i was trying. i was doing PSL so i guess it wasnt worth it

is it just me or all of those pictures kind of crappy spot to put the jammers anyways? personally, i'd rather put them closer to my head lights and then take of my lic and put it on my dash board inside my car.

oh and, *cough* its a parking sensor officer :)Why didn't you exceed the PSL? If you don't trust the jammer enough to do PSL+10 in front of a cop lasering people, why did you pay all that money for the system?

I'm thinking of getting a copy of the LPP manual. It has a really informative little piece about 'accidental' interference with Police lidar and laser cruise control. Truthfully though, the LEOs arn't dicks around here. Getting stopped for running a jammer is not something I expect especially as I plan to operate it 'properly.' =)

Nobody (and here we are talking about professional LEOs) is gonna buy the front grill parking sensors story unless you can prove that you are allowed to drive while visually impaired=BLIND!!!

I live in a state where RDs are legal, but laser jammers are not, so those are my laser sensors like the SR7 has.

ill be posted a video soon of the LI 4 head system i installed on my car.

The laser gun will be shot by a actual LEO, that i know, while he is on duty. We arrange a meet coming up week, when weather gets better to test my system out. I will have the camera in my car and weather or not it was JTG of PT. I am not going to show his face or car or anything at his request.

The dept. is well aware of the laser jammers. And he told me there have been times when he has got error codes on his gun but seconds later the unit has failed. Also he said that he is 100% sure he can get my speed from any distance. From far away i am sure he wont, but anything up close, he will prolly aim for top headliner area to get the speed.

let you know how it goes, along with the video.

Where did you install your heads? 4 up front or 2 on each side? J/w because I also have a SRT4 and I'm thinking about getting a quad LI and putting 2 on each side.
cant wait for that vid :D

Just place 2 up front, and 2 on your rear.

I have that setup and JTG/JFG my PLII and UL20/20 100pps on a large frontage/rearage(?) 2006 M Class Merc.

Check out my previous posts re 3 head lpp and 2 head LI setup.
