Escort C65

Hey guys,

I just wanted to see if anyone currently has or have used the Escort C65. I am using this little jem right now. My wife just got a ticket today, my old Cobra she is using did not even alert which leads me to think she got hit with laser.

Hey guys,

I just wanted to see if anyone currently has or have used the Escort C65.I have its Bel cousin. Its a solid Rd. I am using this little jem right now. My wife just got a ticket today, my old Cobra she is using did not even alert which leads me to think she got hit with laser.It doesn't even have to be laser. I've seen the reaction time on some cobras as large as 5 seconds. That means from the time the radar source is present to the time it alerts you, can be up to 5 seconds. In other words, the cobra is as useful as that brown thing that goes round and round in the toilet.:) The crapola only provides a false sense of security. For laser, no detector will save you.

I have an RX65, it's the same thing in a different case. Never got a ticket with it, it's a solid mid-range performer. Be careful on winding roads is my only advice.

You can look on here or YouTube for anything on the Bel RX65, it's the same detector.

My girlfriend has the C65. Its a great little detector for the price (200ish). Probably the best in that range.

This is the first high quality detector I have owned and I am very happy with the C65 very good sensitivity and lots of nice programing options. My favorite is the tech mode.
