Earlier today I spotted a black one coming off of Exit 255 / Northside Pkwy off of I-75 through ATL. Shifters were mounted about mid-grille...does this guy happen to be on here? It was nice for a change to see a rather nice car with some form of counter-measures, even though shifters don't hold the highest regard :p

From what I managed to catch a glimpse of, it would seem so.

Shifters are pushed heavy at those "Car Audio and Video" shops. I guess he fell for it. Marketing is amazing.

Keep your eyes open. I'm in buckhead and see $100k+ cars a few times a week with Zr4's.

As mentioned, car a/v shops push them hard. I see escort shifters at least once or twice a week.

Mercedes AMG models are by far the most common car to find them on in my experience.

I have never once seen a car with jammers anywhere. I always find myself looking closely at vehicles, just to see if they're using any kind of counter measures. I see plenty of radar detectors, but no jammers.

Lol. I find all of this, "if it isn't a LI on that car, it's gonna be PT city for that driver," talk absolutely ridiculous. Truth be told, if I had to choose between a 4000 ft reading on my car, or a 400 ft reading on my car, I'd choose the latter. When installed correctly, zr4, m27, le-10, LI, they all give you time to adjust your speed and avoid tickets. Exactly what they are supposed to do. Some do an awesome job at any distance, but there is a cost for this. People have become obsessed with JTG this and JTG that. Nothing is infallible and it only takes one lucky PT to ruin a perfect day.

The majority of high end cars in my state and neighboring states are equipped with the 9500ci for a few reasons. 1, it's a money maker that only needs to be installed once. 2, you never have to uninstall it because they very very very rarely fail. 3, it's a complete solution that offers the owners a reasonable sense of security.

Wow, you must be watching like a hawk to see a few a week. I'll catch one maybe once a month, and I'd have to agree with the higher end Mercedes idea, as that's normally where I've seen them on. I guess I'll have to watch more closely. :D This Maserati stuck out a bit more than usual so I figured I'd take a shot in the dark to know if he's lurking around ;)

x3. I've talked to zr4 owners who haven't a clue of JTG, yet they've had many saves and seem satisfied. As an enthusiast, I prefer having JTG performance, but for most people a save is a save from 1500 ft.

I gotta agree that lots of shops do push the Escort 9500ci. I see ZR4's on cars all the time. Never noticed a LI or Blinder (except among the enthusiasts).
