Agreed. But according to the HoCo website, the mobile units are using "lasers" (aka Poliscan) on vehicles with an operator. I will jam all day!!!

Have you had much success at jamming Poliscan? they record you speed off axis so heads have to be angled.

My LI jammed a Poliscan on the opposite side of I95 once. In that application, I can see the Poliscan set up for multiple (4) lanes. However, I can't imagine that the Poliscans that will be set up in school zones with only one lane each way, will be difficult to jam. I'll let you know in about a week; one of the mobile speed traps will be in my neighborhood!

Well it finally came yesterday. The mobile speed traps that the county are using are Poliscan lidar units in white Ford Transit minivans. I was able to get a good look yesterday and was successful in jamming the unmanned speed trap. It was set up within the school zone limits at the local elementary school.
