Default Audi A8 leaking Ka band?

Ok on my way to school this morning, i got 2 bars of Ka band, so i slowed down, looked for the cop, becuase i knew a place where he likes to sit... drove past it he wasnt there, must have been at dunkin D's, but anyway it went away, then when i got to a stop sign, it came back, so i was like WTF, i looked in the rear view mirror for a bogie, didnt see any, kept driving. This silver A8 was behined me, again i slowed down and i got 2 bars of Ka band. I was at a stop light to i turned on my detector to tec mode, 34.399 was the ghz reading. as i was sitting at the lights i knoticed a police officer across the way. it wasnt him im sure of it, becuase at 20 ft away it would have been 6 bars. Got closer to the school, slow down for pedistrian, again 2 bars of 34.399...

Is this some kind of sensor that audi puts in their cars, or was this *****es A8 possibly leaking from her detector? this was really freaking me out since i have NEVER had Ka false with my RX-65. Any info on this would be great! Thanks, an avid speeder!

Guy probably had a junk detector (cobra) setting off yours, this happens a lot. Just because people have money, doesn't mean they have brains.

I agree with dave's assessment, probably a crapra in the car. The guy obviously has great taste in cars, but lousy taste in RDs.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

the quote is credited to P.T. Barnum (circus owner) but there is some dispute to whether in fact the comment was made by one of his competitors.
