I have had my STI for about 1 week and I just had the service required message pop up. I called service and they said there was a software issue and all units need updating. I have to pay to send my unit back to the US (I am up north) and they will update it and send it back. Apparently they just discovered the problem a week ago and I was the first call. Just an FYI for all of you STI owners. He did not say what the specific issue was. A pain and the ass and i will cost me $$ to ship, I am not impressed with the service as you would at least expect them to cover the shipping cost!!!
