    Default STI - K Band

Had an interesting situation this morning. Travelling up to Orillia on a secondary highway in rolling hill terrain. As I approach a smalll hill receive a K alert which peaks at 4 and drops off as I come down the other side. OK not that unusual in this terrain ride along... and along... and along. Pick up the signal again as I approach a larger hill about 2km away my Sti goes K9 there at the top is Durham Region cruiser with a Tahoe stopped. Range from initial alert .... 8kms thats about 5 miles for those if you using the "other system".

Not sure what unit this guy was using but he's sure not going to sneak up one me with it

I think most Ontario forces use a mix of K, Ka and Laser. Older units plus what they purchase from year to Year
