Several questions about knowing what types of radar/laser are in use.
-Is laser only handheld and stationary? Or can they be vehicle mounted and used while the car is patrolling?
-It is known that in my area that there are only about 6 cars with bi-directional radar capability, and they are HP. I know where they patrol, so it is not a problem. My question is will LEO's coming from behind be shooting me, or are they shooting oncoming traffic?
-Is POP and instant on Ka the same thing? I have several 'instant on' encounters where I am sure that I picked up full alert scatter (The LEO was still around a bend when I got the alert) Will RX65 tell me whether it is POP or not? (Not that it matters I suppose).
-Much of my driving is on rural, curvy, wooded, backroads, early in the morning. The normal enforcement has picked up recently due to urban sprawl, and the increased construction of neighborhoods. RD has picked up Ka up to 3/4 mile away through the trees, and around the bends which I think is excellent, but that is when he was shooting other cars that were up ahead. Any suggestions as to what I can do when I am the only car on the road, and dont have anyone bird dogging for me (besides slow down  )
