Interested in what type of falses make "PoP" alert

Just for sh*ts and giggles I decided to activate the PoP option and in the last 2 days I have recieved the PoP alerts, both have in the city. Can other RD's set it off? its been very sunny so can the sun set it off? Anyways I turned the PoP back off. Thanks. BTW I the V995 and I really love this RD.

POP false alerts are caused mostly by other radar detectors, and sometimes barely-out-of-range motion sensors. The sun won't cause a false POP alert.

i have pop enabled on my x50 rev.6.1 but have seen very few falses, my friend who has a cobra doesn't set mine off :?
