Ka falses?
I know that all Ka alerts should be real, but...
I have gotten 3 bar Ka alerts several times, in the same place, under the same conditions. 2 lane country road, no traffic, no LEO's in sight, only car on the road. Nothing around in BFE but me and the cows. Today, I turned around and rode the area again..nothing either way. What gives?

Maybe it's the aliens or an electromagnetic bovine.
Whenever this has happened to me there are always other cars around and I assume one of them has a leaky RD.
Yup alot of falses show up as Ka many are caused by the beloved Cobra the RD of choice for the uninformed or the just plain stupid.

I have the Bel 945.. I had strong Ka alert the other day... getting progressively stronger as I approached the rear of a corn gravity wagon being towed by a large JD tractor. I was also in the near vicinity of a newly installed cel tower. As I passed the tractor and the cel tower, my 945 shut up... No LEOs anywhere.
Wonder if the 945 is leaking that bad, or if it was a combination of the tower, tractor, or just me and the tractor.
I'll be testing this more in the coming months as harvest season is soon upon us.
put it in spec mode and see what frequency the source is
I get a 1 Blip Ka false ? Same spot every day going to work. No LEOs about 200 yards from the nearest residence. Havent figured it out yet. Maybe it is a
radar drone.
BTW the cops are getting smart. They are doing radar sweeps by grocery stores. Dont think your K band alert is automatically a false near a store
KA alerts have been the "only reliable" band on my RX65 and 995, but everything else including K and Laser have experienced false alarms. Especially K band as it has been well documented.
That's why i love the expert display on my X50
I have yet to receive a KA alert from my BEL 995
