Decided to track falses and actual alerts with my 715i today. I commut 75 miles to work and back four times a week, so I used that as my "test" track.
I took I-25 north from Colorado Springs to Aurora (I-225, too) at 5:30 a.m., then E-470 and Hwy 83 South in the evening (6 - 7:20 p.m.).
Northbound leg had 2 true alerts. Both were Colorado State troopers with people pulled over on the opposite side (southbound), apparently with radars on. Both were about a half-mile from the LEO. During that trip, I had THIRTY-FOUR falses. Hee hee.
Southbound in the evening, I encountered no LEOs and thus had no true alerts, but had 19 falses.
So all in all, in 150 miles of Colorado driving, I had 54 falses and two true alerts. LOL. THAT'S why I call it my "Noise Maker." Haha.
At this point, I'm thinking even the Whistler Pro 73 would do better for me.
