Suction cups for older Bel 880?

HI all.

MY suction cups have turned a horrible yellow color and look terrible! Does anyone know where I can get replacement cups for this, or know if I can clean the old cups I have now?


I'm assuming the sun damaged them, and they cannot be cleaned?

Try putting the suction cups in boiling hot water for a few seconds. Either than that, get some new ones from BelEscort. Maybe they will send you a pair for free if you call?

I tried bleach, no go. I tried Plast-X for the hell of it, no go. I finally found a set of new OEM Bel cups for 4 dollars shipped on ebay. Problem solved!


BTW, I did email Bel about the issue 3 days ago, but never got a response. I had to call them about a year ago to ask a question or two. Both times the agent was rude and unprofessional..

I found a set of cups on the bel site for 2.95, which i thought was a damn good price for oem cups. Problem was, they wanted 5 dollars to ship them. U could stick them in a envelope and mail them with a stamp!

Anyway ebay was cheaper, so i went that route.

I actually got the suction cups yesterday. They are brand new and sparklin' clear

The only thing I need now are those 2 tiny rubber caps/feet that fit over the metal points that stick up on metal bracket.

Sorry about Bel not calling you back . Their CS needs to improve. The rudest person to talk to there is Dan. If you get Dan on the phone, hang up and call back and talk to someone different . I don't like rude people either.
