more or less falses in a relation to longer to shorter distance of detection.
I have mine on highway 24/7 but if falses start to get to you try city. autoscan works well too.
Imo, the difference is very little between the three.
Highway 24/7 here also..If it gets to noisy,i just push the mute button.I never change modes.
Use city mode all the time on my STi. Highway has too many falses unless I am on the highway.
on my x50 i usually use auto. i used to use city(except highway on the highway) but my area is primarily xband(a few k uints) so it wasnt the best idea
Highway sets the RX65 to maximum sensitivity while Autoscan enables some filtering
RIP Duncan my BELOVED black lab son 8/7/99-3/23/11. I will miss you DEARLY.
LET THE BIRTH OF MANY TESTING GROUPS HAPPEN!
You want to know what it is like doing something for the love and passion and not for the mighty dollar then look up GOL!
Well when reading about my Bel and Autoscan, I thought that only X and K band were affected, which would be great, but I think that's wrong. I believe Ka is affected as well which really sucks.
What other modes does the RX65 have? My Bel has City all, City X, Highway, and Autoscan.
Highway with x off, autoscan sucks!
Should also get the same sensitivity with city no x!
Using the STi, I now have it in the Autoscan mode. Using the Hwy mode seems to give a little more falses, whether that's good or bad, however, it may keep you on you toes. . Autoscan seems to be just right for me, no matter where I'm driving
Do they use X in Ontario?Originally Posted by rmv221
