It depends. A best sample STI will beat a best sample RX65. However in the real world it is hard to answer this question do to manufacturing variance

LET THE BIRTH OF MANY TESTING GROUPS HAPPEN!
You want to know what it is like doing something for the love and passion and not for the mighty dollar then look up GOL!
buyradardetectors rocks!
I say YES, the STi is more sensitive, at least on Ka. But if you operate an RX-65 in USA mode, it is close to the STi.
I own both RD's and even though I haven't done any scientific testing I feel the STi is more sensitive than my RX65 based on what I have seen on the battle field. I am very surprised how well the STi can detect from behind, it is ALMOST as good as my V1.
But, don't get me wrong the RX65 is a fine RD. It has good detection and it does real good sniffing out Ka, which is the biggest threat in my area. And it has good filtering, so it is a quiet RD while driving around town. I think you would be happy with either one. Just my .02.
STi all the way, but only if you need spectre proof. If not, save the extra cash and buy a laser jammer.
Did you not post similar things in other section of the forum?
yes for sure...better range and better laser detection...and STEALTHNESS!!!!
It's not worth the extra money for the increased performance... get the RX65 and put the difference towards a jammer
