    Default Problems with RD

I have a Cobra Radar, and I just bought a BEL PRO RX65. Let me tell you this RD is GREAT. But I want to have both radar detectors on at the same time. Well tonight, I found out it causes interferance with one another. Is there any way I can fix this problem?
Also, I'm thinking about getting a V1. I will only buy this if it wont interfere with eachother. Does anyone know if they do or not??

Not that their is any advantage.... Could you run two STi's in the same vehicle without problems?

Maybe, but I would recommend against it: better safe than sorry.
Although the STi has low enough leakage to prevent detection by the Spectre, the STi is many magnitudes more sensitive than the Spectre is, and the two detectors in the same vehicle would be much closer together than they would ever be to a Spectre in another vehicle, so it might be enough to cause problems.

I will try to test this.

Any examples of procedures I should try?

You might be able to tell if one alerts to the other, but you'll never know if one de-sensitizes the other, or cause the other to "block" alerts.

    Default I tried this

I tried this w/ a Bel 970 in the rear window and my X50 in the front. I think this desensitized my 970. I sure miss that Bel 970  .

So the Bel 970 lost performance, what about the X50?

I wonder what would happen if you had 2 leaky cobras on the highway beside each other

    Default the X50

The X50 became a little desensitized until I sent it in to BelEscort for repair. It used to false on POP a lot but now it is fine.

In order to understand this, you should review how radar detectors work (non-STi). They send out a weak radar signal on their own and wait for the signal to bounce off of the inbound police radar. Although some manufacturers use different frequencies, they are within a range that will cause false alerts. (The specific frequencies were posted on this site at one point in time.) If you are not receiving false alerts from each detector, it is possible that you are okay because it means that the frequency is not the same and not in the range of the police radar.
