I almost won a lot of two of them off eBay. But the price went up to 11.00 at the last minute and I said "no thanks." Mainly b/c of this thread.

Thumbs up Re: Bel Express 795

I have three 795's and for the $ they are great! Are they as good as a $300 or $400 dollar one? Of course not, how could they?

Yeah there okay, nothing I would use again though. Would deffinatley choose it between any cobra, and it's pretty good with 34.7 Ka and it owns K band and X band radar. You can forget about using it if 35.5 Ka is used in your area, slightly better than a cobra with 35.5 witch will alert to Ka just as the LEO is right on top of you, but still really sucks with 35.5. I only get Ka alerts on my X50 from the 795 I turn my POP on, unlike cobras.

The 2 things I really don't like about this RD is the fact you can't turn any bands off and theres so actual display screen to view Speck mode or anything.
