is it possible to turn up the volume on this unit? mine seems very quiet..hard to hear. also, i got quite a bit of Ka falses today. any thoughts?

Yep...the curved button on top turns it up or down (it's marked volume-mute). Are you sure they were Ka falses? Were you driving past a shopping plaza or stores at the time. A radar detector picking up door openers isn't really falsing. It's just not police radar is all :wink:

Hard to hear an RX65 sounds like a problem with the unit to me. RX65's are known to be pretty loud. And as for the Ka falses, this does not sound right either. Where did you get the unit from? I would have it checked out ASAP. Signs of a possible bad unit to me.
