    Default 940 voltage meter?

I searched the Beltronics forum using "volts" and "voltage" as keywords, didn't get an answer, so I'll just ask at this point:

The 940 obviously monitors voltage, since it'll display a "LOW VOLTAGE" message if its startup sequence is interupted by a large current draw -- this happens if it is hardwired, left on constantly, and the car is started. The 940 comes on when the key goes to "ON" and then is cut short as the key goes to "IGN" since the current draw makes it want to reboot. Before the reboot, its last gasp (before springing back to life when the motor starts running) is "LOW VOLTAGE."

Does this mean the voltage metering HW is present just as on the 995 etc., but it's a software or firmware issue to get it displayed? If so, how does one go about getting the voltage displayed?

It's definately likely. However probably the option isn't open in the software.

The 945 used a bootup key sequence to access the mode, I believe it was PWR and AUD together. I may as well just try that before I get too disappointed.

Anyone have a functional key sequence for the 940 confirmed?
