Default rx65 multiple threats same band

Im under the impression that the RX65 is unable to display multiple threats on the same band (ie. Two cops siting on opposite sides of a roadway with KA radar units) Am I under the right impression? Are there any units out there that will report multiple threats on the same band?

V1 will report 9 sources of any band of radar at one time. The X50 will report 8 sources (4 X, 2 K, 2 Ka) at one time. I am not sure about the Rx65.

I'm pretty sure that the RX65 is limited to 2X, 1K, 1KA. The X50 can track 4X, 2K, 2KA. The V1 can track 9 of whatever is there but it won't give you as much detail as to how many of what band. You just get a number and a list of bands detected as well as an indication of the strongest signal. I think that any of these systems ought to be more than adequate as long as you keep your foot under control as long as you are receiving a signal.

Why? It's an extremely capable detector. The only place it really falls behind is laser detection. And a jammer would more than make up the difference, if you choose to install one.

Thats true around here I dont think we use alot of radar atleast to my knowledge. I plan on getting a jammer eventually but for now only state police can use radar or laser in PA so it wouldnt exactly be practical right now.

Radar is extremely rare in PA or at least this is what i can gather from my trips through PA most of the speed traps are VASCAR in which a detector won't do a thing.

Only the PA state troopers can operate radar and they can only do it stationary, they are experts at instant on K-band

All the state troopers I have seen in my trips through PA have not even been running instant on, all they do it to wait till an idiot blows by them....Locals in PA all use Vascar in which a detector is useless

I have the RX65 and use the multi-threat display mode. I have never had a problem telling whether or not a real cop was around or not. I just drive around in highway mode all the time and memorize the signal strength and location of alerts. When cops hide near "falses," their radar is still way stronger, is easier to detect, and shows up earlier. If you drive around in city or autoscan then I could see it being a problem though. As far as a laser jammer, I would start out with Veil +/- Laser Shield(s) for your car then add a jammer later.

Yeah I really do hate VASCAR Im starting to wonder if they will get smarter and start using obscure objects as start and stop points as opposed to the white painted lines. I have only seen cops around here atleast use the white lines.
