yep its already on his site. Does this have the "ramp up" problem like all Bels? And does it have spec mode and expert mode?

welcome to the world of confusing Bel units. So we have 995, 965 955, and the 940. We also have the discontinued bel 895 radioshack only model. People say that the 895 and the 955 are identical electronically. I am trying to make sense of all this.

The 995 has more features, and a 299$ price tag. Question is does this perform as good as the 955? The 995 also is the only one with a tech mode display. Another question is, would it just be better to get a similar priced X50? Or an RX65?

Do all the bel vector series perform identically to the 955 especially in Ka range??

So the 955 is about 180$, great price. I'd like to know how it compares to other RDs especially V1 and X50.
