Beltronics STi is now sold at Circuit City

I guess Bel doesn't think the STi should be exclusivly sold by a select few anymore. At first you could only get one through Bel and some truck stops. Then a select few online authorized retailers i.e. radarbusters.com. But now it seems you can walk into a Circuit City and just pick one up. I guess Belscort changed their original selling mindset they had when they first released them.

Gonna be some version issues develop through that retailer

I would still order from Roy.Once those huge chain stores carry items like this,their stock isn't organized as in what version you will be getting.

Funny stealth, I was in a CC last weekend and the guy told alpine and I he couldn't get an STi. Is this just "select" CC's?

This is new info.

CC always carried the Sti, but it was always online. You could order it and have it shipped direct to your home, or have it shipped to the store. I'd be interested to know if all stores are now automatically stocking the sti.

I did see it on Circuit City's website. I don't know if the stores have them or not. Of course the stores in Virginia don't have any radar detectors, but I could check a Circuit City outside of Virgnia next time I'm near one and see if they have them in the stores too.

I was hoping to pick up an STi when I traded in my Cobra my girlfriend got me from Circuity city, but the highest model they had was a Vector 995.

Wasn't it CC that announced this week it was firing/laying off the majority of it's employees because they made too much??? Then they wanted to higher them back at lower saleries!!
