Just for the record, I've been an V1 owner for 10 years, and love the unit, and have no intentions of selling it. It has been, and remains in my opinion, the benchmark.

All that being said, I live in a banned area. :cry: So, after riding detectorless at home for years (the Spectre sucks...) I've bitten the bullet and bought an Sti.

The Sti came from the factory. Now, before everyone jumps on me for not supporting Roy (or the new buyout company) Bel offered me $80 for an old Express 3 that I own in the trade-in program. That sealed the deal.
Sti is being shipped on 2-day express, so I'll have it by the end of the week. Looking forward to some testing of the unit.

The Express 3 is a very old RD! And they gave you $80 for it? :shock: Can't blame you for jumping on that deal. For quite some time BEL would not even take trade-ins on the STi. Just shows you that it pays to wait!
