Hey guys, Bel is soon to release to Australia the new Bel STI-R. It's been kept on the down-low and we have been involved with some testing of the development versions. It's all set to go now and should be released to Australia in August. I'm not sure if it's getting released to the US or Cananda.
It has some really cool new features including band specific scanning which should see the V1's hold on top Ka performance in Western Australia slip to #2. With the band specific programming essentially the user can say "I only want to scan 34.3ghz (or whatever) on the Ka range" and it doesn't scan anything else but that. It has a tech mode so if a user doesn't know what band is used in their area, when they are getting an alert they can see what band it is and program it to only look for that band from now on.
Of course its still 100% undetectable and fully installed. We have access to a Spectre III and will post undetectable vids on our website and youtube soon... and of course vids of multanova 6F performance. A couple runs against the multanovas here in WA have been very impressive.
Another feature is the "Next-gen laser protection" with multiple laser sensors (5 in total).
There may be a few other small features that are different to the STi. I have a pdf of the back of the box but it doesn't go into great detail as you can imagine. They're going to be pricey but Neltronics has yet to release pricing for them.
I have a link up on our website now - take a look so you can at least see the logo, components, and prelim. info:
