    Default Bel Warranty

There have been several questions/comments regarding firmware updates across the Bel/Escort line.

As long as your product was purchased from an authorized dealer and it is still under warranty, you can send your detector in for a "tune up"

During these "tune ups" they will flash your detector with the latest firmware.

If it is still under warranty is there a cost to send it in? I assume shipping at least?

You pay the freight sending to them
Make sure you call for an RMA 1st saying that you want the tune up

Makes sense to me for all the STi owners that are worried about the 33.8 problem, send it in for the reflashing.
