Rx65 pwr button dont work ?

hello i buy new RX65 detector... plug in all what need, but detector don`t work. I plug in detector, press PWR button but not nothing happen.. where is problem ?


P.S.



but power button don`t work.. or i do something wrong ?

The power button is on the radar detector itself.The button on the smartcord is too mute the sound only.If the lights is green that means the radar detector is on.

but on the display nothing are not when i plug in or when i try switch detector modes... that is normal ? and when display turn on ?

i think its defect, because in owner manual is... "To turn the RX65 on, press the PWR button on the left side of the top case. When you turn the RX65 on, it goes trought a sequence of alerts" :/ when i press PWR button nothing happens

You bought a broken RX65 tell seller it is broke and doesn't work..Then by one from www.radarbusters.com

Sorry to say this but you got owned. Best thing to do is get a refund and buy direct from Beltronics or from Roy at www.radarbusters.com

After looking at the auction listing I'm assuming your unit has no serial number underneath? Most likely it's a refurbished unit or a broken unit.

Good luck trying to get a refund.

Try to get your money back!
None of the Escort/Bel detectors sold on Ebay are from authorized dealers and many come from gray markets.

There was an interesting article that I just read in Popular Mechanics magazine about counterfit electronic products being made in China. We have seen these counterfit radar units being sold in AU, NZ in where they look identical to the real thing. Even the manufactures couldn't tell them apart until they opened the case and crossed referenced the serial numbers.

I've said this time and time again, buy from an authorized dealer ONLY!

Try using different power cords/smartcords to see if that may be the problem. I have had at least 10 smartcords go bad. That wouldn't surprise me if this was the problem.
