Well, I travelled to visit family over the Thanksgiving weekend. I had planned to grab several pics on my way thru East Texas. However, the weather turned bad not long after I took these pics. I ran into the Cold Front that sat over Texas for most of the Thanksgiving weekend. However, before it got bad, I grabbed one of the best 940 save pics to date.
I got a very faint K band beep that lasted about 2 seconds. Then it went away. I was overtaking a slow moving blue car and getting close to topping a hill. Then I got another whiff of K band radar. This was about 25 seconds after getting the first whiff of radar. I had slowed down well before I approached the hill.
Look what the little 940 sniffed out
This was a Houston County Sheriffs Dept patrol car. Thats in Crocket, Tx in case your wondering.
When I got into Crocket, Tx I had to pull over for a pit stop. I got a very strong K band signal when I pulled into the Crocket Wal-Mart. No, they didn't have a super powerful K band Door Opener. The local boys were having lunch at Subway.
Better to have them whoofing down a foot long sub than gunning me on the Crocket Loop.
Anyway, after Crocket the front hit and I didn't get any other pics.
But, to date the little "940 That Could" keeps doing it's thing. Picking off radar one LEO at a time.
