bel replaced the antenna again 2 in a year. updated firmware to from 6.1 to 6.2..... unit ramps up a bit better now, have not had time to checked radar sensitivity yet on k and ka bands.... its raining in az todayX off , ka usa, sws off.

how did you changed the firmware?

after i got it back it took a couple of weeks before i could re test the rx65 and what i found pissed me off. it was almost dead on the k band radar. it would not even pick off k band door openers. I set up my radar and tested it later that day and found on my kustom signals falcon it had less then 1/4 mile range. i sent it back to bel and they replaced the main board in it now. now it works killer on k and ka bands. the best i have ever seen out of the rx 65. the draw back is that i now have firmware version 4.3 and i have the ramp up signal problem now. When i had 6.2 it fixed the ramp up problem.I guess i don't care that the signal meeter is lazy in it as long as it picks off radar.
Hmm what a coincidence, two people today reporting dead K band?
