The suction cups from Bell have lost their ability to stay on the windshield. Has anyone else experienced this and found a way to recondition them? Thanks. Search didn't help, but that may be my fault.

Drop them in a pot of boiling water for a few moments, fish them out and let them cool and then use them.Originally Posted by gsedan
This should help, well it does for me on my V1 after a few years of always being on the windshield they flatten out. I would think they are made of the same material.
another option I found is had some industrial strength Velcro that I had picked up at Wal-Mart and cut it out the shape of the mount and mounted my detector to the windshield this way. I have had it up there for over a month now and no vibration against the windshield or nothing and works far better than any suction cups.

You can buy suction cups (same size) at a craft store and they may even have them in the Wal-Mart craft dept. They'll have a small metal hook on the non-suction cup side but that twists right off.
