    Default STi now higher priced

    I just noticed that the Sti is now $499, man that is expensive.

    You're damn right, radarbusters and beltronics' website... anybody out there to confirm its current price at the Pilot or any other truck station that carries this item?
    My A4M9 bought from Roy in Sept '06 works great, no reason to replace it whatsoever

    Ouch... Nothing like a 9 or 10% price hike to boost your bottom line. I guess if you want a totally undetectable radar detector you have to pay the price.

    Probably the fact that the dollar is tanking, energy prices are through the roof... I bet ticket fines will go up next, so that STi is still worth it regardless of its price...

    The rise in the Canadian dollar against the US dollar.

    Two years ago the Cdn dollar was $.85 US, today its $1.02. The weak US dollar translates to higher prices.

    (Remember that all Belscort products are made in Canada.)

    So US imports are getting more expensive, glad is not the US economy to start blaming again we all know Who :wink:

    Weak dollar doesn't mean good economy
