Default rx55 vs v995 wich is better

starting to look at new rds...how does the rx55 compare the v995. Do either of these rds tell the individual frequency detected.

The V995 is a much better RD than the RX55, both sensitivitywise and moreso featurewise.

From what I understand, the RX-55 is based upon an inferior antenna design.

To answer your question on frequency, yes, the v995 has techmode which displays the frequency detected. Although not 100% accurate, it's close enough. Go for the 995 IMHO.

i have a rx55, as long as your on a motorway (freeway for americans ) it goes well enough.

take it into the city and it'll drive you mad, i just turn mine off since we only use Ka over here and not K.

still coming from a Rocky mountain its like having a V1

    haha, +1

my rx55 surprized me the other day in my fiances car, had a super long pickup. It continues to impress me being the older M2 horn.

but wait, i see now the RX55 is listed on Bel's website for More$ than the 65, Whats up with that ? Did they start puting the M4 in it now that they ran out of the M2's??? Blue display? WTF

    It's not RX55, it's RX65 Blue...
I see RX55 is missing now on Beltronics website...

PS: a few years ago I had a Bel Express 925. That was on M2 platform (easy as helium )
