995 sound q

I have a Q for the owners of the 995 that use voice. When it alerts the beep comes on first, then the voice kicks in, my q is the voice part seems lower than the initial beep sound, does anyone else's do this too?

That is interesting, I thought maybe there was something wrong at first. My older 960 has a real loud voice with the same volume as the initial alert. Also, automute is different, the 960 goes to clicks the 995 is more of a faint sound of the orig. sound no clicks.

I hated the faint clicks on the older model Bel RDs. For example, I tried Bel's superb XKR-LR, below, to use instead of my Cobra Trapshooter Pro II since the Bel was just as good, was a lot smaller, and I had a thing for the pretty LED bar graph signal strength display. But the alerts weren't as loud and I couldn't hear those faint clicks since I am deaf in my right ear.
