Finally got myself a real RD

after wasting time and money with the cheap radars i have gone an gotten a XR-950 AU\NZ.

first thing, i love not having to listen to X and K bleeping away during the city and i can run it in highway mode without worrying about falses.
and tech display, is sweet.

started out with a uniden something and got a RMR then to RX-55 now the XR950 which is similar to V995 or something apparently.

the RX-55 was a good radar for the price but the false alerts drove me mad, the Pro-78 would have been a better option tbh.

It looks like the XR950 is basically a V995 modified for use in New Zealand. No X and K, just Ka specific for the Ka radar threats in New Zealand. It looks like you made a good choice!

unfortunately its used, but its in excellent condition.

they cost around $900 brand new, which is STi money since an sti is about $1000
