Default What do you think the new Bel STi-R's niche market is?

    Hi all,

I think that the STi-R's niche market is for truckers and RD enthusiasts who want a top-of-the-line undetectable and concealed RD installation combined with the ability to use the STi-R with whatever laser jammer which you care to use. What do you think?

definitely truckers. But also states with detector bans. Of course there are a lot of high performance car guys that like them because they keep the cabin clear of clutter.

As both, STI and its grill-mounted version STI-R, are very stealthy against all RDD on the market, BUT we have a pretty huge price difference btwn the normal one and the grill-mounted one, I guess they offer snobs, those driving the freaking Hummers or Ferrari, Lamborghini, Jaguars, etc, a chance to "donate" some money to Beltronics instead to a very much in-need charitable organization like so many around us... no trucker is gonna install such thing in the front grill of their truck, DOT "cops" are regularly inspecting their trucks and when the regular STI you can very easily hide it in a split second, with the already grill installed STI-R you are pretty much toasted if the DOT "cop" smells something unusual in front of your truck... STI and STI-R, same as you like speed and you have to chose btwn a 2008 Corvette and a 2008 Lamborghini, got the money and enjoy the flare and glamour of Monte Carlo Riviera, the choice is obvious
