Does the BEL 985 pick up POP Radar? Just curious cause when we drive along I-90 towards Seattle it doesn't go off sometimes whenI think it should.
Thanks

Why would you think you have encountered pop radar? Pop radar is very rare and should not be used to hand out citations according to MPH's user manual. I have traveled in the Seattle area a few times and I have not seen anything but Ka and laser. I have never seen any K band or 33.8 Ka used by WSP.Originally Posted by xplo40

So basicly the answer is NO.
I have the article regrading 985 and POP buried somewhere, if I come accross I will bump the thread.
The best way to determine if there is the possibility of POP in your area is to switch your 985 to Tech display and see if you get any 33.8 or close to it. That gun can have POP.
