Hot 940 - Wow!

Just picked up a new 940 at CC.....UNBELIEVEABLE!

K-band hits 4.3 MILES!
Ka-band - over a hill and 1.7 MILES!

Perfect ramp-up & very, very quiet!

I owned V1, 8500x50 and v955 and NOTHING comes close to these 940's for true value.....

I picked one up 6 months ago for $125. It's sort of a "spare" I keep in a little-used car. It works well enough in my local area, Ka warnings are solid I'm still relying on the man's detector (V1) for any sort of road tripping.

I also have a V940 and it is impressive! It is literally within feet of both my V1.8(3.862) and V1.7(2.879). It is so impressive, it's scary. The only gripe I have is that the alerts are not as loud as the big ones (V1, X50, or STi).

The V940 is my first RD, and Ive been real happy, although, I want to see how much better a V1 is. Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the club!

I'll second that on the V1... My lead footed Mother now runs my 940. She loves it. I'm glad to see all the m4 doubters have faded away.
