STI 33 Bug & Firmware

Not my day, I guess.
Alot of upgrades to the forum since my last visit.
I am looking at a used STI & I can't seem to locate the post about the manufacturing date for STI that has the 33 bug = fixed & also how to check the firmware on a STI.

If the answer is right in front of me, I apologize in advance.
I can't seem to locate it, and I get zero results, when I search STI; 33 bug; firmware, etc, etc.

dont quote me on this but i think the M4A6 version had the bug up until some date but the firmware fix was rev m4a9 or something from memory.

I recall that STi's manufactured during or after 2707 have the 33.8 bug fix, and that Bel told me that there was a "grey area" between 2407 and 2607 where they were not sure if the bug fix had been applied during production.

yea..as soon as i bought my STi (manufactured previous to fix) i sent it to beltronics for a tune...they will put the 33.8 Ka flash in....and my works just fine
