RX65's LATEST Firmware Version

Hello, Im totally new with radar stuff, and RX65 is my first one. So far experience is alright, i can't compare it to anything. Anyway I got my On ebay :/ and just checked my revision and its 2.9 Unit has this # QL4G7M4 Which doesn't make sence beause i looked in other threat and that is suppose to be a newer version...Can someone please tell me if there are any benefits from 2.9 to 3.6 or 4.5

Also is there a way to upgrade it by connecting it to a computer?

Well buying it on eBay makes it non-upgradeable. You voided the warranty.
It may be a new version because of the FCC ID the only way to know is open it up (Be careful). But you are correct about why is the version 2.9 that don't make sense to me either

My model is QL4G1S7 it came with version 3.2
It has sense been upgraded after it broke. I am now running with Firm 4.5.
Sorry eBay is sometimes a bad thing.

So can i send it to Beltronics to upgrade it for me for a fee of 85$? Or they will not take it to upgrade? Also do they check if it works correctly when they do the upgrade?

Currrent version is now M4 2.9. M4 is the new antenna or software upgrade.

Beltronics stated me Current version as of 02/10/2006 is now M4 2.9. M4 is the new antenna and software upgrade. When tested unit will show v2.9

Just got mine a couple of days ago and it is V2.9 . With the new FCC numbers. Nah nah nah nah I have the latest J/K

2.9 is not a box of old parts. Works much better than 4.5. Looking forward to GOL to test it.
