iam sorry but i have to disagree, i have used all 3 rx65 x50, 995, and i seen differnt results from each, for example the rx65 beats the x50 and 995 in ka band. the x50 beats the 995 and the rx65 i k band, and tge 995 beats the x50 in ka band.
Then you answered your own question LOL.
It could have just been manufacturer variance. I think my roommate's V995 does better in Ka and K than my X50.
To me, top dogs mean the "best" of each of the "top" manufacturers, which to me would be the STI, 9500i, and V1. That doesn't mean that the RX-65 and X50 aren't bad performers by any means. Then there's the thing where the Vector series from Bel is supposed to have the same performance throughout the series, and have pretty close, if not the same, performance as the RX-65 and X50. Then, somewhere in there, you also have to throw in the top Whistler models.
Ah, it's all so confusing.
LOL, How many times have I read this. I painted arrows on my X50 so I am good to go. Good god, read some back post. We all like different things, we all drive in different areas. Search and read, figure out what will work for u.
Its always, budget, area, mounting, and what you are willing to deal with.
