Since I have two Bel STi's, will they allow someone to send both of their STi's in for the ramp up fix?
Cant see why not!
I just got another reply after i said a thanks reply, looks like this guy/gal is on the ball!: Thanks for the reply! I know some people think we are a huge corporation and we have people running around all over the place with nothing to do. In reality, we are a very small but dedicated group of people running around all over the place with too much to do! I hope you also understand and share with others that we are just as passionate about our products as the members of the forum are. We may move bit slow at times, and indeed, some things that seem simple appear to take forever, but we keep plugging away. I will check again next week. If no news I will check the following week and let you know how things are moving. Have a great weekend and again, we truly appreciate the feedback! Beltronics Inc.

My guess is sales are slumping and they finally set up some task force to figure out what we have to say about their products. For myself, the truth is that I have absolutely no interest in the STi or STi-R, rampup fix or not. I feel the 9500ix and the V1 are both highly superior products and wouldn't consider an STi unless I lived in a place where RDs are illegal. But, that's just me.

yeah well that comes down to personal opinion i guess...I for one hate my 9500i, apart from the ramp up I dont rate it. My STiR smashes it in detection range by a long shot...infact my STiR smashes the Sti...and the 9500ci is wayyyyy overpriced...I would consider one if they wernt such a rip off

Just curious about two things here:
1. What do you like about your STi that you do not like about your 9500i?
2. $1100 for the STi-R is acceptable, but $1600 for the basically the same detection, no false alerts and integrated laser jammers is wayyyy overpriced?

1200 for STiR or 2400 for 9500Ci Ill put up with falses for the diference.
My 9500i seems to be filtered too much, I really dont like the way it detects and alerts...
But like i said, It is PERSONAL OPINION and not a go at escort or bel...just personal preference.
We also wasnt supposed to get the ZR4 (not that I want them POS) they wer going to add extra laser receivers....biggest waste of money ever...Take out the jammer and just sell the detector and I may be interested.

Personally I think $1100 is way over priced for an STI-R. At the most it should be $200 more than the STI.
