I just picked one up in great condition with the OE packaging, manual, cord, and suction cups/mount.

$60. Did I get a decent deal?

Oh and one question. Is there a possibility of using my old Passport X50 hardwire smartcord to hardwire this 895/955 up? I'm not concerned about the smart put, I just want it hardwired

Your X50's hardwire should work perfectly for your 895.

No issues and it worked great on the car ride home and since

She wanted $75 for it but I offered $60 and she took the bait!

I just ran to storage and sure enough the kit does work for power. I don't know if the mute button will mute it it, but upon testing under the hood it DID atleast adjust the volume.

I quickly put the power to the battery and grounded it to test it. Thanks!

I feel like a got a bargain! I had to drive 25 minutes to get it but it was worth it! I didn't realize until I looked at the plug that my smartcord may work with it.

I just hardwired it into the car.
